This proposal outlines the comprehensive Fractional CTO services that Addex Solutions will provide to Silicon Signs on a month-to-month retainer basis.
I. Scope of Services
As your Fractional CTO, I will partner with Silicon Signs' leadership team to build a high-performing, fully integrated technology ecosystem. My primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting a comprehensive review of existing Odoo customizations and workflows
- Identifying code or logic conflicts contributing to system inefficiencies or user friction
- Developing, recommending, and prioritizing enhancements to streamline Odoo, focusing on ideal user experience, project flow, and robust integration capabilities
- Ensuring Odoo functions as a reliable source of truth, integrates seamlessly with external tools (including ClickUp), and aligns with financial visibility and reporting needs
- Initially collaborating with and guiding the current Odoo vendor (Axiom) to implement necessary changes (or let's be honest, finding a replacement for Axiom), with a view to optimizing long-term Odoo support and development
- Serving as the primary technical advisor and project lead for Silicon Signs' ClickUp implementation and ongoing optimization
- Partnering closely with Kate Getchell-Tiffany, who will champion the overall ClickUp vision, to execute the technical design, build, and integration
- Actively participating with ClickUp's implementation team in scheduled development meetings
- Guiding and executing the design and build of a dynamic PMO (Project Management Office) workspace within ClickUp
- Developing key internal documentation, training materials for stakeholders, and establishing usage protocols for ClickUp
- Reviewing all current platforms (Odoo, SmartSheet, ClickUp, Stripe, Slack, etc.) to recommend strategic improvements or replacements
- Assessing and leading the potential adoption and integration of new tools, such as HubSpot for CRM functionality
- Architecting and driving the creation of a cohesive, integrated tech ecosystem that supports the entire customer lifecycle
- Leading Silicon Signs' AI strategy by identifying, prioritizing, and implementing high-impact AI use cases
- Enhancing customer experience through automated updates, status visibility, and intelligent Q&A
- Improving internal efficiency via task prediction, automated project documentation, and real-time reporting
- Guiding the effective utilization of ClickUp AI and assessing opportunities for specialized AI tools
- Staying ahead of AI trends and providing ongoing strategic input on responsible implementation practices
- Leading the design and development of user-friendly, branded customer portals
- Providing franchisees, franchisors, and direct customers with real-time access to project updates, documents, timelines, and communications
- Determining the optimal platform strategy (Odoo Studio, ClickUp capabilities, or dedicated custom solution)
- Ensuring customer portals are scalable, secure, and deliver a professional, transparent user experience
- Providing strategic oversight and hands-on administration for core business platforms
- Managing Slack, Google Workspace, and other key SaaS tools integration within the broader tech ecosystem
- Providing continuous strategic consultation, implementation guidance, and troubleshooting support
- Participating in regular leadership check-ins (bi-weekly/monthly, adaptable to project needs)
- Delivering clear recommendations, progress updates, and system documentation
- Partnering closely with internal teams (Operations, Project Management, Sales) and external vendors
II. Engagement Terms
This engagement shall commence on June 1st, 2025 and shall continue on a month-to-month basis with 30-day notice for termination by either party.
III. Investment & Service Structure
Based on Silicon Signs' current needs and growth objectives, I recommend we start with the Comprehensive CTO Services level to maximize implementation impact and system transformation. You'll have the flexibility to adjust service levels anytime with 30-day notice.
I don't just consult from the sidelines—I embed myself in your team's culture, communicate with urgency, and take full ownership of outcomes. My goal is for your team to see me as a natural extension of your leadership, not just a fractional resource.
Whether it's resetting a password or evaluating the latest AI tools, I'm there for both the smallest requests and the biggest strategic decisions.
Hands-on implementation and execution covering all scope areas outlined above. This includes direct system configuration, active project leadership, custom development guidance, and intensive collaboration with your team and vendors. Perfect for the current implementation phase where you need someone "in the trenches" driving results.
Consulting and strategic guidance with lighter hands-on involvement. Includes regular check-ins, strategic recommendations, troubleshooting support, and high-level oversight. Ideal for when systems are stable and you need ongoing strategic technology leadership.
Monthly retainer fee is due on the 1st of each month. Invoices will be provided 5 days prior to the due date via email.
Monthly retainer covers all strategic leadership, direct execution, project management, and general operational costs. Any pre-approved, project-specific expenses (such as specialized software licenses purchased on behalf of Silicon Signs) will be billed separately at cost with prior written approval.

- Responsive communication to keep projects moving forward effectively
V. Partnership Assurance
I'm committed to Silicon Signs' success and satisfaction. This month-to-month engagement structure ensures you have complete flexibility - if at any point you have concerns about value or progress, we can address them immediately or part ways with 30 days' notice. My goal is to become an indispensable part of your team by consistently delivering results that exceed expectations.
Bottom Line: You're getting a dedicated Fractional CTO who will take complete ownership of all the technology initiatives Silicon Signs needs, without the long-term risk of a traditional contract.
